Celebrating Our First Anniversary!
We’re celebrating an amazing first year of smiles! First off, we want to say thank you to our Plymouth Orthodontics family – we couldn’t have done it without our awesome patients and dedicated team members – as well as our supportive family and friends. Let’s take a look back at the past year, and then at our goals for the future!
When our office was ready to open after months of renovations, we celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony co-hosted by the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. It was a great night to kick-off our business, make connections in the community and celebrate our achievements! In our opinion, there’s no better town to start a new business than Plymouth. Between the history, the people, and the scenery, it really does not get better!

Last August, Plymouth Orthodontics opened up as a two woman team. We were very eager and excited about changing smiles, and we hit the ground running! Over the last 12 months, we’ve packed our schedule with new patients and brought on great new team members. Our team is passionate about taking the best care of our patients and it’s brought us great success!

Our patients are one of the best parts of our office! We love to post on social media welcoming them to our ‘family’, because that is exactly how it feels! We have worked with patients from six to sixty years old and everything in between. We are lucky that we see our patients frequently, because we get to cheer them on and watch them transform! At Plymouth Orthodontics, we are firm believers in the Golden Rule and always have our patients’ best interests in mind. It’s not just about orthodontics – it’s about the confidence we help our patients gain!

Q & A with Dr. Alvarado
Q: What inspired you to start your own business/become an orthodontist?
A: “Growing up I was initially fearful of going to the dentist. Over time this changed because I had wonderful experiences with my dentist and orthodontist. These experiences inspired me to become a dentist and then an orthodontist and provide exceptional service to my patients to help them overcome their fears and improve their self esteem. I love my profession and how I am able to create connections with my patients. My goal is to change their perceptions of going to the dentist/orthodontist and then make it a nice experience – not something to fear.”
Q: What was it that made you pick Plymouth, Massachusetts as the home for your new business?
A: “Some of our family members live locally and we always enjoyed visiting this area. We moved to Plymouth during the fall of 2017 and instantly loved being part of the community. We especially love the beautiful waterfront landscapes, the small town feel and access to both the city of Boston and Cape Cod within a short drive in either direction!”
Q: You grew up in Puerto Rico – what was your favorite part about living there?
A: There are too many to pick just one! Food, weather, landscape, nature/wildlife and beaches.
Q: When you’re not busy in the office, how do you like to spend your time?
A: Spending quality time with my husband and pup, Lexie, exploring our new hometown and state. My husband and I love food! So we are always checking out local restaurants and bakeries.
